Annual Pre-launch party in Knowlton, Quebec, organized
by Danny and Lucy at Brome Lake Books. In person
tickets will go on sale June 5th at noon. The event
will also be online so you can join from anywhere
in the world. I will share the link for this nearer

Saturday & Sunday, Nov 1 at 4pm & Nov
2 at 2pm ET The Haskell Free Library and Opera House,
Rock Island, QC/Derby Line, VT
- Since the venue famously and proudly straddles
the Canada/USA border this will be a joint event.
200 Canadians and 200 Americans will be able to
come to each event. It will also be live-streamed
on Saturday, so you can buy tickets to watch on-line
from anywhere in the world. Brome Lake Books will
be selling tickets and books to Canadians. Phoenix
Books will be selling tickets and books to Americans.
It's so important to support independent booksellers
in both countries, so I do ask that you buy only
from the bookshop in your country. This also, between
us, saves the bookstores postage into the other
country.
We want to give people in other time zones an
equal chance to get tickets and attend, so the
tickets will only go on sale on April 15th at
3pm ET.

Now, if you do come to one of the Haskell events
it would not hurt to bring your passport. Just
to be sure. (A few months ago saying that would
have sounded ludicrous, but we are living in times
when the ridiculous is made manifest.)
Part of the ticket price will be donated to the
Haskell.

the Guest of Honour in the 2026 gathering (yes,
you read that right. I must eat more vegetables).
It's going to be in Calgary. Hoping you can make
